Gala Slacks is our favorite dress pant manufacture, and for good reason. Their materials are sourced from the top mills throughout Europe, the three fit models they offer are on-point, and they are made to last many years. We spent last weekend at their factory with the owners Dino and Dino Jr. to see the full process ourselves.
The process starts with Dino making patterns to use as a template in the cutting
Fabric is laid out and stacked for an efficiency in cutting
Lining on the front of the pants is sewn in and the back pockets are created
Once the waistband is attached, button holes are created in just seconds
We experienced a deeper understanding of the steps to produce a dress pant, and the trip has given us more perspective of alteration techniques.
